Point and Shoot

I'm contemplating a camera purchase. Preferably a little compact one that I can bring with me but still takes good pics. Right now, I have my iPhone and my computer, so that explains the poor quality of my pictures :-/ However, my budget is low so I won't be able to afford top notch cameras but I welcome any suggestions you might have.
