Contour & Highlight

A bit of contour and highlight can really do wonders for the overall look. Other than my normal beauty and make up essentials, I just used a cream highlither and a dark, matte powder. I finished with a loose powder that is the same color as my natural skin (if you're in doubt, pick a color that is a little lighter).

A Little Trip to Oslo, Norway

Joakim was part of theInternational Group for Lean Contruction (IGLC 2014) in Oslo and we took it as a good reason to take a little vacation and opportunity to see the city. Oslo is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our semi-spontaneous getaway. Gay Pride Parade was the same weekend. What a bonus!!

Happy First Father's Day

Yesterday was the first father's day for my hubby and I know no other way to celebrate than with food! First we enjoyed some great and greasy food at Luna's Diner in Copenhagen. Then, when we were in the mood for something sweet. I decided to just google a New York cheesecake recipe and bake a homemade cheesecake, but we had to wait till the next day to eat it waaah. It was sooo delicious and worth the wait (it had to be in the fridge over night) If you want to make your own, here's the recipe :)

Drinks with the girls

It's no secret that I miss the nightlife. Especially now that I've taken the role as a stay-at-home mom. We went out for some drinks and I was home before it got all crazy :)

5 Course Dinner with my Hubby

Yesterday my husband and I treated ourselves to a nice dinner without the baby. After 8 months of being fulltime slaves we needed some time off. We went to Scarpetta, Cofocco in our neighbourhood "Islands Brygge" and I must say it's one of the nicest restaurants in Copenhagen that I have tried.

A Beautiful Day at the Copenhagen Zoo

The Spring/Early-Summer weather has finally hit Copenhagen and it has been a long time coming. Therefore, we chose to spend, what otherwise would have been a boring sunday, on a trip to the zoo. The Copenhagen Zoo has been in the media's eye, because they chose to euthanize a young giraffe Marius instead of transfering it to another zoo. The Zoo has, since then, been met with a lot of critique but they did it to maintain a healthy population for the animals. Anyways, I thought that maybe the popularity of the Zoo would have gone down, but it was the opposite. It was so crowded that it wazs hard to get a front row view of the animals.
