New Nike Shoes

I needed a new pair of sneakers and these have become my new love. They are sooo comfortable and I feel like I can wear them with anything.

My husband and I arrived in Hamburg today late afternoon. It was a 4 hour train ride from Copenhagen so it was fast and easy. I think we arrived in the land of cake because everywhere we go I see delicious cakes!!! Here is the first of many that I will try.

Sunday Bagels

Today I made bagels with oats and whole wheat flour. The funny thing is you boil them before you bake them in the oven. It's really easy! try it!

Floorwars 2013

The biggest annual breakdance event in Denmark was held today here in Copenhagen and it has been a loooooong day for me (Luckily I wore something really comfy). They divided the competition into 3 categories and I'm proud to say that my husband won one of them. I was there from 4 pm until 1.30 and I'm exhausted so goodnight everybody :)

Homemade Flatbread (Chipati)

It was sooo easy. As I've mentioned before, I'm not a natural homemaker, but it is so much fun - especially when you get good results and a happy husband :D

You don't even have to stress too much about the recipe. It's basically just some yeast that you dissolve in lukewarm water add a pinch of salt and then add flour (whichever kind you prefer - I always use wholewheat) until it's a sticky dough. Let it rise for an hour and then roll out a small handful at a time with flour so it doesn't stick. Then put it on a really hot frying pan for approx. 30 secs and then flip it. Tadaaa!!!

Homemade Wholegrain Pizza with Mushrooms, Chicken and Buffalo Mozzarella

Today I made pizza for my husband and it is way easier than I first anticipated. There are so many recipes and they are all similar and really simple to follow. The great thing about homemade pizza is that you can top it with anything you like.
