Aalborg culture

Not too long ago Joakim and I went to the theater here in Aalborg and this little geometric glass house stood there in the middle of the room. I love the vibrant colors in an otherwise dull, cold, industrial room.

Spare time

I got off work at 3.30 today because the weather was sooo bad, people didn't even want to go outside to shop! I sat and drew some sketches for fun - it's the perfect indoor activity if you're home alone. Here are some of them.

I have to put these items on my wish list. Especially now that I live in a city with no Zara store around!

I love to mix and match materials this season. (Imitation) Leather tights, chiffon blouse and a (faux) fur coat. Just gorgeous!

Happy 18th of Movember

I'm sure you've all heard of the Movember charity event that has been going on worldwide. Guys shaved off their beards and started growing a moustache from November 1st to show that they support the fight against men's cancer. Read more about it here

Wow... I feel a lot better today. I had a great night's sleep and a fresh cup of coffee with soy milk. yum! 

I miss Zara

Aalborg is a much smaller city than Copenhagen, which is why shops like Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters and the like are nowhere to be found here. What makes matters even worse is the weather. I wake up - it's dark outside. I get off from work - and it's dark outside.
It is in times like these I turn to internet browsing/shopping. The new looks from Zara are amazing. These are some of my favorites.
