Monday Funday

I started this week with a good work out before I headed to work. I've been working out before work since Dec. 1st and decided to purchase a scale to see if it pays off. I can't really be motivated by the mirror alone. Since I've been in Aalborg I've lost 10 lbs but there is still some extra pounds that I need to shed. I'm still happy with this first weigh in result. My lovely boyfriend picked me up just to walk with me for 10 minutes. So cute... This is my new red vintage jacket. I love it.

Party on a budget

There's nothing better than to get glammed up for a party. Now that all the Christmas presents are bought, my credit is maxed out! And my savior is no mythological figure but rather ASOS :D There are some really nice dresses for the girl who's on a budget. Here are some of my faves. These are all fairly simple and just screaming to be personalized with accessories!

2 Things

Today I worked out in the gym so I can eat all the Christmas goodies with a clean conscience ;) I then went to work waaay too early so I stopped by the department store next door. I saw these heels and I like them but I'm not sure I LOVE them. This is my question. Are we liking these or loving these?

Last Day Off

Today's my last day off before Christmas and I'm excited to do absolutely nothing but enjoy it. Luckily, the sun is shining and I get to spend the day outside. Have a great sunday everybody!!!

Now that it's getting colder and the days are shorter, it's hard to get up in the morning. I've recently purchased a membership to the local gym so I can work out before I go to work. It helps my body get more fit and also my mood has changed drastically. I feel happier and more confident. Maybe it's the power of suggestion, but I feel like a new person and have a sudden urge to shop for new clothes :D Especially now that Christmas is coming up it's relevant for those close to me to see what my (material) wishes are.

Christmas is near and New Year's eve is also right around the corner. I have no idea what I'm going to wear but I can imagine that I most likely will be inspired by one of these evening looks from Zara.

So this is Christmas...

We're already in December which means I've been in Aalborg for 2 months. It's a cliché but time really does go by fast. The holidays mean intense shopping and longer opening hours for the stores. That's why I have been CRAZY busy and haven't had time to blog as much as I would like to. That being said, nothing can bring down my Christmas holiday spirit and here are some pictures to get us all in the mood. Happy holidays!

Not too long ago Joakim and I went to the theater here in Aalborg and this little geometric glass house stood there in the middle of the room. I love the vibrant colors in an otherwise dull, cold, industrial room.
